April 19 @ 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM PT
Panelist: Scott Melnick, Principal, Security Research & Development
Session Details: Today's gaming and entertainment offerings are evolving at a rapid pace, especially with the growth of digital as well as cross-pollination from operators and suppliers who are increasingly active both in-venue and online simultaneously. In an era where data is valuable currency, leveraging customer data to establish and grow better relationships, provide greater value, and increasingly generate positive financial returns is front of mind for operators and suppliers. This session will provide a general overview of AI and explore different perspectives on how it is already providing benefits and any concerns that the audience should be aware of to better prepare them for future proposals from suppliers, operators, or AI-related companies.
April 20 @ 1:15 PM - 2:15 PM PT
Moderator: Melissa Aarskaug, VP, Global Gaming
Session Details: While the cloud is not new, it can be confusing when assessing the risk in a regulated gaming environment. Gaming operators are pushing the cloud to save costs, increase redundancy, and have the ability to quickly scale and provide resources in a fast-changing environment. Traditional cloud offerings along with Kubernetes and other container solutions are quickly becoming popular. With the cloud comes some concerns for both state and tribal regulators. This panel discussion will cover the opportunities, challenges, and risks related to utilizing cloud technologies in a regulated gaming environment.
April 20 @ 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM PT
Moderator: Gus Fritschie, Senior VP, Information Security Services
