Position Summary:

The Senior Technical Delivery Specialist is responsible for ensuring professional IT service delivery is delivered to all clients moving to Office 365 and other Microsoft Modern Desktop Services. This position serves as a senior resource for complex for internal initiatives, and service delivery to our clients for services on Office 365 and the Modern Desktop Experience. 

This position will be responsible to provide ongoing delivery and assistance for complex projects for delivery of projects for Office 365. This position will focus on client migrations and new service delivery for clients moving from both Exchange on Premise and other email services to Office 365 and use modern management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Protection and other modern desktop services from Microsoft. 

Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities):

Your role will include, but will not be limited to the following:
  • Provide service delivery for migrations, new implementations, and support for Microsoft Office 365 and services like Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and other Microsoft Modern desktop applications 
  • Coach the service desk and Tier II and III on incident management for escalations and issues.  
  • Improvement of the delivery process using automation and scripting where possible. 
  • Provides hands-on training, training materials and documentation for client equipment
    to employees when necessary
  • Responsible for upholding Microsoft security best practices measures set by client/Bulletproof policies.  

Required Education and Other Credentials:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or a college certificate or diploma in information technology and/or have relevant experience and industry certification.
  • Must possess relevant technical skills/certifications in Microsoft Office 365 Administration and Implementation
  •  Working knowledge of server management topology and remote access 
  • Solid working knowledge of Server and Desktop version of Microsoft Windows and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. 
  • Microsoft Exchange background in migrations of Microsoft Exchange to Office 365. 
  • Experience in Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Autopilot 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional telephone manners and a strong customer service orientation is required. 
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes is an asset.

  • Experience in a hosting environment such as Microsoft Azure is an asset.
  • Ability to update ticketing systems and ticket owners using professional correspondence 
  • Valid Driver’s License.
